Independent celebrants can create a totally personalised ceremony that tells your unique love story rather than following a standardised legal script, which is what registrars will read, for the legal ceremony. You can also decide if you want the ceremony to be more relaxed, playful, formal, funny etc. If we work together, I’ll take time to get to know exactly what works for you, and you’ll have plenty of chances to review and provide feedback on the script so it’s just right for your big day.

LGBTQIA+ inclusive:

LGBTQIA+ couples often feel most comfortable with an independent, LGBT+ wedding celebrant (like me!) or ally who will not only accept but truly honour your love.

Flexible locations:

Independent celebrants can work anywhere, so there’s no need for a venue to have a marriage license. We can also work outdoors (weather permitting!)

Interfaith and mixed heritage couples often choose a celebrant-led ceremony because we can incorporate traditions that are meaningful to both of you.
