A bit about me

LGBTQ+ wedding celebrant

I was a founding member of the charity Choose Love and worked there for 10 beautiful years as Director of Partnerships. My work has always included lots of creative writing, events, and public speaking, so a couple of years ago, when two of my dear friends asked me to be their wedding celebrant, I was excited to rise to the challenge.

I absolutely fell in love with the process of creating and officiating their ceremony. The experience inspired me to train so I could offer the service to other couples.

I’d love to take your guests on a journey through your story, cherished memories, hopes, and dreams, with plenty of laughter along the way. I understand just how important the ceremony is for you and your treasured community, and I adore finding ways to make ceremonies feel unique, meaningful, and memorable.

I’m so happy to help celebrate any and all kinds of love. I speak fluent French and conversational Italian. I love poetry so I have lots of reading recommendations for you, if you need any, and I am also writing a book.

My process with you

1. Discovery Call / In-person meeting

You don’t have to have any firm ideas about what you want your ceremony to look like the first time we chat. We can explore this together.

2. Script Preparation

If we agree to work together, we'll have a planning call then you'll each complete a questionnaire, which will provide all the info I need to write the script.

3. Script review‍ ‍

You'll review and provide feedback on what I have written. This can include an extra meeting.

4. Site visit and rehearsal

Optional and location-dependent.

5. I officiate your wedding!

It will be my great honour to be part of your most special day, celebrating and affirming your love, and reminding your guests why you have chosen each other. Ceremonies are usually around 30 minutes long.
